Name: Robert Sambursky, MD Location: Sarasota, FL Background: Dr. Sambursky earned his BA in Biology from Brown University in 1994, a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine in 1996 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston School of Medicine in 2000. He has completed his internship at Mount Auburn Hospital and his residency at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He also completed a Cornea Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Sambursky has co-authored several articles in various medical journals. In 2003 he received the James Shipman Research Award for his scientific work on the study of a new rapid diagnostic test for adenoviral conjunctivitis. Within RPS he serves as the medical director and is the responsible officer for the management of all regulatory affairs (FDA approval, reimbursement).
