We have a great deal for which to be thankful.  The unprincipled, crooked Democrat members of the Senate are not on that list.  They have clearly identified themselves as prostitutes of the first order, no character, and no honesty.  They have made deals with your money -- in any other context, the deals cut by Landrieu of Louisiana and Nelson of Nebraska would be considered criminal bribery.  But in the Democrat Senate Caucus, it's OK.

In a word, they are self-serving criminals.

Obama is clever.  He has told us (and too many did not listen or did not worry about it) he intends to transform this Country.  He truly does believe in redistribution of wealth, the need for a new Constitution, etc.  He surrounded himself with outright crooks.  Read Michelle Malkin's book, "Culture of Corruption"  -- once reading it, you cannot help but ask, "Did the Senate know this damning information about Obama appointees?  If it did, how did it confirm or allow this to happened?  If it did not know, why?"

America needs to wake up or the Country we love, with all of its imperfections yet that shining city on the hill, is going to be something entirely different from what you and I know.  Our grandchildren and children will not be able to pay for the tragic, criminal grand larceny now taking place.  And when the Dems complete their mischief, it will be largely unchangeable.  The world watches in glee as Obama destroys our Country as we know it.

We are approaching a point where 50% of voters pay little or absolutely no income tax.  Yet, the Democrat congress keeps piling on the debt which the dwindling numbers of tax payers will have to pay.  Our founding fathers warned us of the danger of the day when the people could vote themselves largesse.  We are there, my friends.  When the takers outnumber the producers, we are bankrupt.  It cannot be sustained as the politicians, for their personal ambitions, will give the takers more and more to keep them happy and keep the politician in office.

The American people made a tragic error in November 2008, aided immensely by a corrupt media that helped sell the country a bill of goods.  When shall we say, "Who will pay your bills when I refuse?, Who will feed you?  Who will fight for you?"

I am reminded of Ayn Rand's classic novel, "Atlas Shrugged"  -- when the producers decided enough is enough, that the dominating and suffocating growing government with it's programs, bureaucrats, regulations and all consuming maneuvers was deadly.  The producers withdrew from society -- those who were providing innovation, creativity, hard work, and productivity simply pulled out leaving the takers and bureaucrats of big government to cope.  And, the world came crashing down.  Who will take their place?  Those now who believe the government will take care of them are fools.  We are rapidly drifting toward a European form of socialism or worse.  This form of government-dominated existence has failed everywhere, everytime.

Why on earth are the elected leaders of this country hellbent and determined to ruin the United States? 

We have a clever, conniving and dangerous personality in the White House.  You should be very afraid.  We have greedy fools in the Democrat party running this country from Congress (yes, there are some of similar ilk in the Republican Party there also.)  They consider your money and life of work and accomplishment their tools to do as they wish.  They all need to be removed from office in 2010.
